KISS Cancels Australian Tour
Rock and Roll legends KISS, have announced that the band has cancelled their Australian tour due to guitarist Paul Stanley’s illness. It was revealed that the star man had influenza and there was a possibility he would only have to miss a few shows but recovery didn’t happen as fast as expected and Stanley also acquired a nasty infection in his throat that will now require him to completely rest his vocal cords. In a statement, the guitarist says:
“Words cannot begin to convey our massive disappointment in having to cancel our ‘End Of The Road’ tour of your incredible country. Our connection to you is unparalleled and decades deep. We waited as long as we could and held out hope to the last minute that my situation would clear up and we would be able to march forward. Doctor’s orders ultimately have taken precedence and finally we now find ourselves with no choice but to surrender. With heavy hearts, KISS.”
Tickets for Kiss’ Australian tour that were purchased by credit or debit card will be refunded and fans should see the refund appear in up to 10 working days. For more information on if the band will reschedule their dates, please stay tuned.
