Glass Pony Packs Out Parish Public House For Album Release Party
Glass Pony hosted their album release party of their self titled EP at the Parish Public House in Albany, NY over the weekend packing the venue out. The album was also released on streaming platforms the same day giving fans a chance to hear it before the show. The band comprised of Chanda Dewey(Drums), Eddie Hotaling (Guitar/Vocals), Jeff Picarazzi(Bass), Greg Pittz(Guitar) took about nine months to make it and was recorded and mixed at The Stables in Albany by Hotaling. The album was mastered by Scott Apice at Blue Sky Recording in Delmar, NY with the album artwork created by Chanda Dewey. The album also features Matt Richards (Formula 5/Annie in the Water) on keyboards for select songs.
The band performed three sets with the first set featuring the entire new album performed from front to back. After a short break, Glass Pony got back on stage to perform their second set featuring a top shelf cover of The Who’s “Eminence Front.” Set three was all about friends and jams featuring 6 different guests. One of the many highlights from the set was the groups take on Grateful Dead classic “Brown Eyed Women.” Not only was this performed to perfection, they also went into an amazing improvisational jam that blew the doors off the venue. With Glass Pony’s diverse and unique original songs along with their confidence on stage, there is no where but up for the group. Go and listen to their brand new album today on all streaming services. Check out photos and setlist from the night below:
