GALLERY: Halloween With Dark Star Orchestra at Capitol Theatre

Dark Star Orchestra took on a three night run at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY starting on Halloween night(Thursday) and celebrated the holiday by recreating the Grateful Dead’s February 18th 1971 show. The show was performed at the original Capitol Theatre which saw debuts of “Loser,” “Bertha,” “Playing in the Band,” and “Greatest Story Ever Told.” Usually, Phil Lesh hosts Halloween night at the beloved venue but with his recovery from surgery, Dark Star Orchestra filled the void. Prior to the performance, Deadgrass performed a set at Garcia’s which for those who don’t know, is a smaller venue attached to the Capitol Theatre.
