Goose Releases New Single, Fall Tour Continues To Sell Out
Goose, the Norwalk, CT based indie-groove quartet comprised of Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Trevor Weekz (bass), and Ben Atkind (drums), has released their third studio single of 2019. The track entitled “Butter Rum,” released today, is the band’s third consecutive song mastered by Grammy award winner Emily Lazar (Beck, Vampire Weekend).
“Butter Rum” is a playful tale of holiday romance heartbreak. The song has a tropical feel and carries the listener through the story of a vacation full of love and fun until the escapade ends and he’s left with “nothing but the rum”.
The new single arrives just ahead of the beginning of Goose’s fall tour, kicking off this Friday with back-to-back sold-out shows in Albany and Boston. The 20+ date tour carries Goose as far west as Colorado and culminates with Goosemas, the band’s annual holiday extravaganza. For more information on the single and Fall tour, visit the band website.
