Annie In The Water Play To Sold Out Boat Cruise on Alexandria Bay
Annie In The Water played to a sold out crowd on the Pirate’s Ball Sunset Cruise in Alexandria Bay, NY over the weekend. Ever since the release of group’s new album Time to Play, they have been a role all summer playing shows and festival sets all over the place. In recent times, Matt Richards(Formula 5) is now the keyboardist of the band bringing his exquisite talent along for the ride. With a huge following in the area, fans let loose by singing along to all the originals and dancing the night away.
With Canada right across the border, the boat cruise took place on international waters via Uncle Sams Boat Tours. It was also Pirate’s Weekend throughout the town making for an even more festive ride with Annie in the Water. The show featured sit-ins from Josh West(Melting Nomads), Dillon Goodfriend and everyone’s favorite keyboardist Scott Hannay who has been busy with his solo project called Scott Hannay Plays Video Games.
The performance was followed up by a “Super Jam” at the Riverboat Bar right after the cruise featuring sit ins from nearly 20 different musicians from bands including Annie in the Water, Trampoline Jetstream, Mister F, Formula 5, Melting Nomads, Space Carnival and plenty more. You can catch Annie in the Water in Lake George, NY Labor Day weekend for the 2019 Adirondack Independence Music Festival. They will be playing a late night set King Neptune’s Pub right after the festival shuts down. Check out photos from Annie in the Water’s performance on Alexandria Bay below:
