Palace Theatre Hosts Free Community Event with 2nd Annual Block Party

The Palace Theatre in Albany, NY is having its second annual Community Block Party on Saturday, August 17th from noon to 4pm. The free event will take up the surrounding block and will offer giveaways and free food while supplies last. The event is free to the public and will feature games, food trucks and fun as well as live music from the Ill Funk Ensemble.

The non-profit theatre is looking to offer a family friendly experience for its surrounding community. The event is rain or shine, with the rain location being inside of the theatre itself. Community organizations and vendors will be present, as well as radio station Hot 99.1 to spin tracks throughout the day.
