Lamb of God Parts Ways With Chris Adler
(Writer: Frankie Cavone)
In a statement via Twitter, metal act Lamb of God cited that they will be officially splitting up with drummer Chris Adler and will be replaced by Art Cruz. Adler was in the band since 1999 playing on many of their monumental albums. What caused the split was that Adler wasn’t able to give a time for his return to the band. The drummer has been in recovery due to an injury in a motorcycle accident that happened some time last year which forced him to stop touring.
Lamb of God stated “We’re very proud of everything this band has accomplished over the last two decades. We would like to thank Chris Adler for his contributions over the years and wish him the best in his future endeavors.” Regarding Adler’s injury, he said via an instagram post “I experienced some issues related to the injuries that needed to be addressed with a rigorous schedule of physical and occupational therapy which is what I have been doing regularly since July.” Lamb of God has just finished up their final North American tour with Slayer. The band also stated that Cruz will be joining the group in the studio during the production of their new album. Stay tuned for more news on Lamb of God.
