The Funky Knuckles made their way to Anthology in Rochester, NY over the weekend bringing world class orchestral jazz to the city for a special night. For those who don’t know The Funky Knuckles, they are a group from Dallas, TX who have reached the number one spot on the iTunes Jazz charts and have just released their 4th album. The band consists of Wes Stephenson(Bass), Cedric Moore(drums), Phill Aelony(guitar), Evan Weiss(trumpet), Ben Bohorquez(Saxophone),  Kwinton Gray(Keyboard) and have also been seen as sidemen for artists such as Janet Jackson and Stanley Clarke. 

The Funky Knuckles has a string of dates coming up including a show tonight at The Stone Church in Brattleboro, VT, a date in Bridgeport, CT at The Acoustic on July 17th, July 18th at DROM in New York, NY and a performance in Washington, DC at Gypsysally’s on July 20th.
