At this week’s Alive at 5 Concert Series in Albany, NY, it was Hip-Hop night and the headliner Slick Rick “The Ruler.” Due to possibility of a rain storm, this weeks performance was held at the rain location located under a bridge in downtown Albany. Opening up for Slick Rick was DJ T.G.I.F and Giant Gorilla Dog Thing. Sponsoring this week’s event was CDTA, Overit Media, KeyBank and Jamz 96.3. Slick Rick not only played all of his hit songs, but had the city of Albany, jumping and waving their hands back and forth. So far, this was hands down the most packed show of the summer concert series. Next up to perform at Alive at 5 is rock group Quiet Riot on June 27th.
