On a cold Monday night New Orleans funk band Galactic brought fun and excitement to Jupiter Hall at Lucky Strike located in Crossgates Mall in Albany, NY. Galactic is currently on tour supporting their brand new 8-track album called Already Ready Already. The album was released on their own record company called Tchuop-Zilla Records. With this album, Galactic took a contemporary approach and decided to included electronic and modern rhythms. Opening for Galactic was the High & Mighty Brass Band out of Brooklyn, NY. Galactic continues their tour this week playing dates at Buffalo Iron Works in Buffalo, NY February 13th, The Rex Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA on February 14th, and the 9:30 Club in Washington DC February 15th.
