Mountain Jam Announces New Location and Initial Lineup for 2019

New York State music festival Mountain Jam has finally announced the location for its 15th annual year. The festival will now be taking place at Bethel Woods Center For The Arts from June 13th-16th 2019. This will be the first year that the festival has had a new location which used to be held at Hunter Mountain in Hunter, NY. The initial lineup includes Willie Nelson & Family, Gov’t Mule, The Avett Brothers, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Amy Helm, The Big Takeover and Marco Benevento among 40 other acts which are to be announced sometime soon.

This time around, LiveNation has been brought in to co-promote the festival. According to the Poughkeepsie Journal, Mountain Jam founder stated “[Bethel] is like going to the Taj Mahal of sites. It’s all about being on an amazing piece of land. What could be more amazing than Bethel Woods and the home of the Woodstock festival… It was really just a matter of going to the promised land. Tickets will go on sale for Mountain Jam this Friday, February 8 at 10 a.m. ET.
