Let’s Be Leonard Packs Out the Putnam Place on Thanksgiving Eve
Let’s Be Leonard is one of Upstate New York’s rising jam band acts and has hit many milestones along the way including releasing a brand new album called Static, invited onto beloved radio station WEQX’s program “Jam N’ Toast” and most importantly, touring around the United States. On Wednesday November 21st, they returned back to their hometown for a Thanksgiving show at the Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs, NY.
Let’s Be Leonard has a unique blend of sound and all members have a diverse taste in music. They are not your average jam band. These guys have a knack for experimenting in non-traditional ways. The way they structure their music gives light to many diverse songs in their repertoire such as “How Do You Fall in Love?” and “High N’ Dry.” They make sure that their shows are top notch and are involved with every part of their live shows including doing their own lighting with help from lighting designer Sky Weldon.
The hometown band featuring Karl Bertrand(guitar), Matt Griffin(guitar), Paul Guay(drums), Chris Cronin(Bass) and Connor Dunn(Saxophone) played 2 full sets and brought on Ryan Sullivan(Ramblers Home/North & South Dakotas) during the second set.
