This year apple will be releasing two new models the closely resemble the iPhone X in design but comes with some new additions. The XS’ screen size comes in a 5.8 in screen size, which will be slightly smaller than the Max but with Apple’s screen technology its still a force to be reckoned with. The XS is pretty much all screen and its refreshing. Similar to the iPhone X the phone bezel is almost nonexistent. The Max is where we see Apple do what it has never done before–a 6.5 in screen which is the largest screen for Apple so far.
Both phones are finished with durable glass with a IP68 water resistant rating. That means the phone will endure submersion of 2 meters for up to 30 minutes. Apple claims to have stress-tested the product in swimming pools, and even pints of beer, so the consumer can rest assured that the claim is accurate.
They will both come with Face ID feature, with promise to work much quicker than its predecessor. It’ll rock out dual-lens camera, 4K Video, and a smart HDR feature, which will allow for the best image every time. The one thing that shows promise for the camera is that you can adjust depth-of-field after you take the shot and from the presentation the feature looks like it’ll be a real game changer. The phone will be available in three storage sizes; 64gb, 256, and 512gb.
Both phones will be powered by Apple’s newest A12 bionic chip which is the first 7-nanometer. It is capable of processing 5 trillion operations per second making it powerful to handle the most strenuous processes opening the world to do more with your smartphone.
The XS starting price is $999 and the XS Max starts at $1099 with color options gold, silver, or space gold.

Apple also announced its plans to release a more budget-friendly iPhone into the mix with a fun assortment of colors! The XR will have a 6.1 in screen and come in yellow, coral, blue and product red. It will not have a OLED capable screen, instead it’ll be using Apple’s new “Liquid Retina Display” which they claim will have the best LCD screen on the market. It will not have a home button as Apple made sure to have Face ID in its arsenal. The A12 bionic chip will be inside the phone but it won’t be quite as powerful as the XS or XS Max. It’ll be available for pre-order next month and will start at a whopping $749.

The Apple Watch has also seen a revamp and boy does it look beautiful! The watch will come with a bigger display and a smaller bezel opening 30 percent more screen space to display information. The microphone and speaker have also been worked on and Apple claims its twice as loud as series 3. This will make it easier to take phone calls and using voice functions. The two sizes will be 40mm and 44mm sizes (the older ones come in 38mm and 42mm).
It’ll come with a 64-bit processor which will give it twice the performance, and newer sensors to track health and fitness better. The watch will send you a notification if your hair rate is to low and even if your heartbeat is irregular. This will help many detect health issues early on. The watch can also tell if the wearer has fallen hard, which triggers the watch to ask if you need emergency services. The real news comes with it being able to measure ECG, which is first of its kind in a consumer product. It is FDA approved.
The starting price of the watch is $399 for GPS, $499 for cellular. If you’re looking for something a little less expensive, some good news: The Series 3 gets a drop to $279.
