Formula 5 returned for yet another wonderful hometown performance in Lake George, NY this past Saturday night. Following the wild success of the 2nd annual Rock the Dock Music Festival in July, Formula 5 gave a stellar performance aboard the Minne Ha Ha steamboat for a rockin’ evening cruise. With clear skies and a warm breeze, the night was perfect for the performance they brought on the water and dockside.

The band took the stage for the first part of their set at 9pm when the boat embarked across the waters of Lake George and returned dockside for the second half. Their performance included outstanding originals, but also classic and fun covers from Phish, Widespread Panic, Dire Straits, Van Morrison, and Bob Dylan. The cruise portion ended with a standalone piano solo by Matt Richards to close the song “Cleaning Windows” by Van Morrison. The performance picked back up with Bob Dylan’s “Tangled Up In Blue” where Greg Marek handed over the sticks to the captain of the Minne Ha Ha. As always, Formula 5 treated friends, family, and fans to an entertaining show that kept the crowd a rockin’.

The band will end the summer with a few dates in New York, Vermont, and Connecticut before returning to the area for the 2018 Adirondack Independence Music Festival, located at the Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George, NY.
