With surreal exuberance Pigeons Playing Ping Pong took the stage at Empire Live on Saturday night. With their flock on point and ready to boogie, the guys came out swingin’ with an energy that ramped up the crowd as soon as they walked out onto the stage.
Drunken Doja Monkey supported Pigeons by starting the evening off with a DJ set to get the people moving. Pigeons came out with two full sets and the setlist was tight. I don’t think I’ve seen these fellas enough. Especially, if this is a typical evening for a member of the flock. They sure do bring the heat.
