The ever growing Dad Fest took place over the weekend at Washington Park in Albany, NY celebrating Fathers Day in a great way. The 1 day festival held by the City of Albany featured live music, a car show, vendors and family fun for everyone.

This year’s acts featured Crazy Train(Ozzy Osborne Tribute), Cry Baby(Janis Joplin Tribute), Ill Funk Ensemble and Lucid Street. While every act was great in their own way, local act Lucid Street stole the show early. Not only do they have a deep pocket of covers, the group also performed a couple of originals that were impressive. Led by front woman Cait Tizzone, she and her band have a stage presence that all local acts could take notes from.

With Dad Fest growing each year in size, it should only get bigger and better next year. It is nice to see the City of Albany provide more things to do in Washington Park and not stopping with Tulip Festival regarding events this size. Check out photos from this year’s Dad Fest below:
