Albany, NY Mayor Kathy Sheehan has announced the city’s free summer concert series, Alive at Five, will go on in front of a full-capacity live audience yet again.
The first three shows of their 2021 summer concert series streamed online were performed in front of a limited audience at the Palace Theatre and Dutch Apple cruise line. This year, we at Mirth Films have partnered up with the City of Albany, NY to bring you all five concerts virtually and will be streamed each Thursday of the following week via the Albany Events YouTube and Facebook pages.
The following bands (from classic ’70s reggae to “Cherry Pie” famed glam rock) return to the Jennings Landing amphitheater at the Corning Preserve this Wednesday, June 30 from 5-8 p.m.:
Starting July 8, the shows will also be screened at Albany bars and restaurants as part of the city’s Restart Albany promotion. Participating businesses have yet to be announced.
