The E-Block, one of my new favorite bands hailing from Rotterdam, New York, has just released their latest single, “Sleepwalking,” on January 31, 2025. You can check it out here.
I first heard about The E-Block when they were opening for a band I was photographing and yes I do live in a cave. Naturally, I pulled up a video to see what I was in for and I was immediately captivated by their authenticity and undeniable talent. Luke Pascarella’s deep and soulful guitar playing grabbed me right away. Then, when he started singing, my jaw hit the floor. His voice resonates through your bones and fills the room—it’s something you need to experience..
The band’s cohesion is seamless; they play together as if connected through something in the ether. Each member’s talent is off the chain. Aaron Shields nails every drum beat with a crisp and smooth sound, while Daniel Folds’ bass lines are as sweet as his smile, and Devan Tetlak masters the keys and his creativity pours out through every song. When you put them together, magic happens.
“Sleepwalking” is technically complicated with plenty of challenging changes, The way they execute the song together is amazing. I love everything about this song and this band. They also have an incredible library of original songs; “Stars” is another favorite of mine. I highly recommend to check them out live if you get the chance—you won’t regret it. They are playing at The Park Theater in Hudson this Saturday if you want to see why I’m so hyped up about them.
If you don’t already know who The E-Block is, as your attorney, I advise you to check them out immediately and listen to this new single. It doesn’t matter what type of music you’re into; The E-Block is going to leave an impression on you.
