Gallery: Pavement and Guerilla Toss and Boch at Center-Wang Theater in Boston, MA

Pavement are currently on their first tour in 12 years and brought their mid-tour form to Boston’s Boch Center-Wang Theater in Boston, MA last week. With a capacity crowd, they went through 25 songs in two hours in one of the most impressive displays of the year. They played fan favorites as we as rarities, including the first “Half a Canyon” since 1996. There was plenty of smiles across the stage throughout the night when a lyric or chord was missed and it was great to see the band so relaxed and enjoying themselves. Hopefully this reunion lasts longer than this run because they sounded as great as they ever have. Guerilla Toss opened the night and got a decent amount of love from the crowd. The band worked at a breakneck pace and fit a lot of music into the 40 minutes they had to open. While the room was too big for them, Guerilla Toss are always a great band to see live and you should make it your business to check them out when they come around next time.
